Itinerary
You will start this excursion from the port or your hotel in Tangier and head toward Chefchaouen. The road will take you via the forested Rif Mountains which certainly provide beautiful, admiring scenery to visitors. Chaouen is hidden in the mountains and attracts people all around the year. Indeed, it is one of the prettiest towns in northern Morocco thanks to its extraordinary color and the Andalusian impact on its architecture.
Once you arrive, you will go around exploring the town. Without doubt, there is a lot to see therein. However, you may want first to browse the decorated and colorful streets and alleyways of the town. The little Medina with its Souks (Markets) will also be of interest. Up the hills, you will have spectacular panoramic vistas of Chaouen town spreading at the foothills of the Rif Mountains.
You will eat lunch in Chaouen and then drive back to Tangier.
