Itinerary
Horse-drawn cab is another alternative to tour the city of Marrakech. It is indeed a slow and traditional means of transport which has been used since time immemorial and is still struggling to exist in present time in some parts of this world. The ride starts from your hotel or Riad in case you live inside the Medina, Gueliz, Hivernage or post office in Jamaa el Fna square if your hotel is situated in Agdal or La Palmeraie area and takes three hours duration.
You will ride in the streets of Marrakech towards the subtropical garden of Majorelle which is one of the most delightful spots in the red city. It is, however, a small, meticulously planned botanical garden, created since the 1920s by the French painter Jacques Majorelle. Afterwards, you will head to the much more visited garden in Marrakech, Menara Garden through the new part of the city, Gueliz and the main street Mohamed VI. Menara garden has a central basin and olive trees surrounding it. It is certainly worth a wander.
The ride ends in the Medina or your hotel.
