Itinerary
The exploratory private half-day guided tour of the Medina (the oldest part in Marrakech city) starts off from the famous square of Djemaa el Fna or from your hotel if it is located in the Medina.
Throughout your slow and relaxed walk between the crucially important sights of the Medina, our tour guide will explain in detail the history of each monument in particular and the history of the city in general. The most visited ancient monuments are Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace and the aforementioned square. Yet, continue your tour through the narrow paths of the Medina until you get to the Souks (Markets) and discover all the various hand-crafted products therein.
The tour finishes in Djemaa el Fna square and your guide will suggest some tips to have an outstanding stay.
Pick-up and meeting point with guide
The guide will pick you up from your Riad/hotel if it's located inside the Medina. Otherwise, the meeting point is our office (Maroc Expedition Travel), located in Rue Ibn Khaldoun between Jamma el Fna Square and Koutoubia Mosque.
