Getting there

Morocco is one of the most important countries in Africa. It is an attractive territory for many reasons, so getting to Morocco will not be complicated. Everything will depend on where you come from and what your budget is.

There are three ways to travel to Morocco: by air, sea and land.

Getting there by air

Morocco has many international airports in the major cities; Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, Fes, Nador, Ouarzazate.

You can easily tavel by air to one of Moroccan airports. It might take you one or two stops to arrive, but it is a direct flight from many cities worldwide.

Travel to Morocco by sea

From Algeciras (Spain) you can also travel by ferry to Tangier (Morocco). This way takes 30 mins to two hours. Another short option is to take a ferry from Algeciras (Spain) to Ceuta (Spain-Morocco).

From Almeria and Malaga (Spain) you can travel to Mlilla (Spain – Morocco) and Nador (Morocco). This option is available every day and take about 7 hours. You can also travel from Barcelona to Tangier.

From France you can take a ferry from Séte or Marseille to Tangier. Also, the trip takes about 36 hours and the ferries have restaurants, nightclubs, beds and shops on board. For more details click here.

Getting to Morocco by land

You can travel by your car or by bus from major European cities but you will still have to use the ferry to get to Morocco.
